Fun is Where it’s At!

Fun, fun, fun is pretty much all I’m having right now. On Tuesday my class went to a Greenhouse to study weather. On Feb. 1, we also will be going to the ROM. Also on Feb.7 my class will be going to the Toronto Symphony Orchestra also known as the TSO. At the ROM my class will be studying Ancient Egypt. We will get to touch real artifacts. At the Toronto Symphony Orchestra my class, along with at least thirty other classes from different schools will get to play a song with the orchestra. I am sure I will have a good time.

I am enjoying volleyball very much. We have learned the proper way to bump and the proper way to volley. How you do the proper bump is to straighten out your arms and bend your wrists back a bit. That creates a straight, flat platform, so that when you bump it won’t hurt very much.

On Saturday I went sledding with my best friend Rachel. I fell off a lot. I found three quarters in the snow while we were sledding. With that I got some candy for each of us. It was a very good day for sledding. After I went to Rachel’s house to play. We played a really fun game for three hours. It was called iToy. It’s a game on the TV where you have a camera and it senses where you are and what you are doing. There are different things you can do like boxing, soccer and washing windows. You move as if you are really in the game but you actually aren’t touching anything, like hitting a soccer ball on your head. Where your head is in the game is where the soccer ball is on the tv and when your head goes where the soccer ball ‘is’ the ball goes back up in the air on the screen. I can’t wait to try that again.
